Nikita was born in Tumsar a small town in Bhandara district, Maharashtra, India into a Gokhale Marathi family. She completed her schooling at Sharda Vidyalay, Tumsar. She was a finalist for the World Swim Suit Model 2017 competition which was eventually won by Brazilian Model Ana Kuya., She was on the Jury for Miss Glamourfaces Germany 2017 and Look of the Year Germany 2017 which was in Berlin.
